lemon cookies

Lemon Cookies
2 ¾ cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups sugar
½ cup butter softened
1 egg
1/3 realemon
Sift together flour , baking powder , baking soda , and salt;
Set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat sugar and butter until fluffy;
Beat in egg. Gradually add dry ingredient salternately with realemom brand ;
Mix well [ dough will be soft] cover and chill overnight in refrigerator or 2 hours in freezer.
Preheat oven to 375
Grease cookie sheets, on well floured surface,roll out dough ,one third at a time ,to 1/8 –inch
Thickness; cut with floured cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes remove to wire racks to cool.
