2 POUNDS OF STEW BEEF
2 TABLESPOONS VEGETABLE OIL
3 CUPS OF WATER
1 MEDIUM ONION CHOPPED
1 TEASPOON SALT
1TEASPOON PEPPER
½ TEASPOON PAPRIKA
3 LARGE CARROTS
3 STALKS OF CELERY CHOPPED
6 WHITE POTATOES CUT IN SQUARES
IN A LARGE POT PUT BEEF,OIL, WATER,ONIONS,SALT AND PEPPER BOIL FOR 1 HR. ½ OR UNTIL MEATIS TENDER.
THEN PUT YOUR VEGETABLES AND PAPRIKA IN COOK FOR ANOTHER 30 OR 40 MINUTES THEN MIX FLOUR AND HOT WATER UNTIL SMOOTH THEN PUT MIXTURE IN POT AND STIR TO THICKEN. YOU CAN ALSO USE CORNSTARCH IN PLACE OF FLOUR.
