1 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE, SOFTENED

2 1/2/ CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
1TEASPOON BAKING SODA
½ TEASPOON SALT
1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS
1 BAG [ 12OZ] SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
HEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES. IN A LARGE BOWL MIX SUGARS,BUTTER AND EGGS.STIR IN FLOUR,BAKING SODA AND SALT [DOUGH WILL BE STIFF] STIR IN NUTS
ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS DROP dOUGH BY ROUNDED TABLESPOONFULS ABOUT 2 INCHES APART BAKE 8 TO 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL BROWN [CENTERS WILL BE SOFT]
